Summer storms come out of nowhere.  This was one of them.  We were lucky to pass through the impending deluge and not be affected by it.  But that sky!!  The sun had a green cast to it creating strange lighting and emphasizing the dark clouds.  I tried to capture it here.  Moody...Yes?

This was the calm before the storm at Poplar Forest.  We had just gotten out of the car, looked over beyond the barn and saw it coming.  The colors against the storm front moving in were really beautiful.  I do love bright, sunny days, but, as I've said, what really attracts me is the gray, atmospheric weather. It's quirky; but I guess, that's me :-)
