Another in my series of Poplar Forest Paintings. I have to say, this is one of my favorites. As you can see, the sun was out for two minutes after we got out of the car. From then on, it was downhill as far as the weather was concerned. I was particularly drawn to this artist's choice of clothes. She was in layers, and it was a good thing since it went from summer to winter in a short frame of time. She was really prepared, and with STYLE. Plus, her scarf matched the barn in the distance. I doubt if it was planned :-)

Cold Morning, Plein Air Painter
