I've seen this scene in so many cities... especially in the parks of New York City. You would find these men in Bryant Park, Washington Square Park, wherever there were benches and tables. Probably in every city around the world. Four men passing the time, heads together, focused on a small square board. It's odd that you don't see four women playing board games in the park...I guess we would be found in a more comfortable, private setting, with cabana boys to bring our tea and coffee :-)
